Introduction
Players will come across two types of dungeons while playing World of Warcraft: micro dungeons and world dungeons. There are more than a hundred micro dungeons throughout the world of Azeroth, ranging in size from small to quite big. Micro dungeon locations will include tombs, haunted mines, ice caves, and sunken ships to name a few. |

Instance
Instance zones allow you and a group of friends to have a more personal experience exploring, adventuring, or completing quests in your own private dungeon. You also have the ability to invite others into your instance zone to join you. |
|
World Dungeon Tips
Playing in an instance typically requires more skill, work, and planning. Instances contain elite monsters that are more powerful than most outdoor monsters. Additionally, many dungeons contain tricks or puzzles that need to be solved in order to advance further through the dungeon and beat it. |

World Dungeons
The following World Dungeons are ready to explore! They are instance dungeons (private) with a common area (public) in the front where players can group. Ask around for directions to these dungeons. Players of both the Alliance and Horde can travel to and play in the dungeons. These dungeons are full of great loot and interesting new experiences. |
|
Raid Dungeons
none of the most compelling features of massively-multiplayer games is the near infinity of things to do in them - content to suit many different playing styles. 'Raids' are assaults by larger groups of players on powerful monsters or dungeons and in World of Warcraft can include everything from a group of lower level characters tackling a quest well above their level to the epic end-game, high-level attacks against god-like foes. |

Classic Reputation & Rewards
There are many factions that unlock special items and equipment for your character once you've earned their respect. |
